Echolink

Echolink is Operational on 443.225 & 443.150

If you haven't gotten involved with Echolink you should check it out. If you have a valid Amateur Radio License, you can use Echolink to have QSO's all over the world without the worry of antennas or power. But the main reasons we added this feature was to:

  1. improve communications in the areas of The Villages that are on the fringes of the repeater

  2. to provide a means for our seasonal members to stay in touch with the Club, their friends and the Monday night Rag Chew Net at 7PM on the 443.225  repeater.

Echolink software is a free download and easy to install. The software and full set of instructions are available at www.echolink.org/download.htm . Please give it a try. We have resources available to assist you if necessary.

NOTE: The issues we had pending for the iPhone have apparently been resolved with the change of server that is now hosting the echolink app.
